Prof. Moahmed Hamza Bio

Prof. Mohamed S. A. Hamza received his B.Sc. (1985) and M.Sc. degree (1989) in Chemistry from Ain Shams University (Cairo, Egypt), and his PhD degree in bioinorganic chemistry (1994) from University of Surrey, UK. In July 2004, he was appointed as a professor of inorganic chemistry at Ain Shams University. Prof. Hamza worked as the Egyptian Cultural Attaché in the US (2005 – 2009). He was appointed as the chairman of the missions administration at the Ministry of Higher Education (August 2009- November 2012). He has been appointed as First Undersecretary of state and the chairman of the sector of cultural affairs and missions, Ministry of higher Education (November 2012-June 2014). Prof. Hamza has been appointed as the deputy to the secretary General at the Supreme Council of the Egyptian Universities (October 2015 – April 2016)

Prof. Hamza visited the US, Germany and UK as a postdoctoral research fellow sponsored by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, the Royal Society of chemistry (UK) and the Fulbright Commission. Prof. Hamza received the encouraging state prize in Chemistry (1998) and Advanced Technological Science (2005) from the Egyptian Academy of Scientific Research and Technology.
